📖 1. Angels & Demons by Dan Brown

This is a 2000 bestselling mystery-thriller novel written by American author Dan Brown. The novel introduces the character Robert Langdon, who recurs as the protagonist of Brown's subsequent novels. Angels & Demons shares many stylistic literary elements with its sequels, such as conspiracies of secret societies, a single-day time frame, and the Catholic Church. Ancient history, architecture, and symbology are also heavily referenced throughout the book.

📖 2. To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

The story is set in the racially charged South during the Depression, the novel follows a young girl and her older brother as they navigate their small town's societal norms and prejudices. Their father, a lawyer, is appointed to defend a black man falsely accused of raping a white woman, forcing the children to confront the harsh realities of racism and injustice. The story explores themes of morality, innocence, and the loss of innocence through the eyes of the young protagonists.

📖 3. The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger

This is a 2003 novel about a young woman who is hired as a personal assistant to a powerful fashion magazine editor, a job that becomes nightmarish as she struggles to keep up with her boss's grueling schedule and demeaning demands. The novel is considered by many to be an example of the "chick lit" genre.

📖 4. Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman Capote

A classic novella, published in 1958, tells the story of a young writer who becomes infatuated with his eccentric neighbor, Holly Golightly, and their unconventional friendship in New York City. Holly Golightly is an unbelievable young woman. Her way of life and manners are not always objective. She just follows her heart and not mind. Her life is one big endless journey.
